Frequently asked questions.

What is free, what you pay for, and how the tests work - in plain language.

Is the test really free?
Yes. You can take any assessment in full without paying or creating an account. After you finish, you see a free result - your band on the scale, with one dimension revealed. Unlocking the complete detailed report is the only paid step.
What do I get for free vs paid?
Free: your result band (and, for multi-trait tests, one revealed dimension) plus a preview of the report chart. Paid: what a result in your range does and does not tell you, the limits that come with it, the sources behind it, and the practical steps that follow. Where the test supports them, it also gives you your exact percentile and a comparison across every dimension. Each test's results page lists exactly what its own report contains.
What is the difference between Standard and Plus?
Standard is the full detailed report. Plus adds a downloadable PDF. See full pricing.
Can I get a refund?
Yes - a 30-day money-back guarantee. If your report is not useful, contact us within 30 days for a full refund.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start, complete, and pay without an account. An account simply lets you save and revisit your reports.
Is my data private?
Yes. We do not sell personal data, results are tied to a private link, and response data used for norms is anonymized. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How long do the tests take?
Most take 5 to 20 minutes. Each test page shows its estimated time and item count, and your progress is saved automatically as you go.
Are the tests scientifically valid?
Each test is built on a published, validated test and scored against real population data. See how our tests are built and validated.
Is the report written by AI?
The detailed report (Standard and Plus) uses no AI: it is produced by strict scientific scoring, so the same answers always produce the same report.
Can I retake a test?
Yes. Scores naturally move a little on retest because of measurement error; that is normal and not a real change in your traits or ability.
How does the Complete Bundle work?
The Complete Bundle is a set of Standard report credits in one discounted purchase, usable on any tests you choose, with lifetime access. See the bundle price.
How accurate are the short tests?
Short forms (for example the 10-item Big Five) are a fast screen, not a precise measurement; longer versions give more reliable scores and a more detailed report. Each test page says which it is.
