Problem severity across 7 life areas affected by addiction - medical status, employment/support, alcohol use, drug use, legal status, family/social relationships, and psychiatric status - in lifetime and past-30-day timeframes

Length and format

Approx 200 items across the 7 problem areas (varies by edition). semi-structured interview yielding interviewer severity ratings (0-9) and objectively derived composite scores per area (clinician-rated/interview)

Language versions

17+ langs including ES, FR, DE, NL, RU, JA, AR, MS, ZH, SV, DA, IT; the EuropASI is the standard European adaptation
