What it measures

Recognition of complex (non-basic) emotions and mental states from dynamic facial and vocal expressions.

Length and format

50 face items and 50 voice items (20 emotion concepts, ~2-3 items each). performance, forced choice among four emotion labels per silent video clip or audio clip (performance/ability test)

Language versions

Adapted into ~10 languages incl. HE, ES, IT, ZH, JA; the voice half requires full re-recording rather than translation, which limits adaptation
