Length and format

30 (long form); 15 (short form). Yes/no (1/0), summed; GDS-15 cut-off >=5 suggests depression; GDS-30 >=11 (self-report questionnaire)

Many languages incl. ES, IT, ZH, JA, FR, DE, PT, NL, KO; broadly validated in elderly cohorts
