What it measures
Metacognitive beliefs and processes implicated in psychological disorder (the metacognitive / S-REF model): positive beliefs about worry, negative beliefs about uncontrollability and danger of thoughts, cognitive confidence, need to control thoughts, and cognitive self-consciousness
Length and format
30 (5 subscales x 6). 4-point agreement (1 do not agree to 4 agree very much), summed; subscales 6-24, total 30-120; higher = more unhelpful metacognitions (self-report questionnaire)
