Work: selection, leadership and performance

In-Role Behavior Scale.

IRB

What it measures
Task performance - the degree to which an employee fulfils the formal, contractually specified responsibilities of the job; the standard criterion against which organizational citizenship and counterproductive behaviour are contrasted.
Length and format
7 items. 7-pt agreement (supervisor rating; self-rated and peer-rated versions also used) (informant/observer report)
Language versions
Translated wherever citizenship research is done - ZH, ES, PT, DE, NL, TR, KO, AR and others; usually back-translated within studies rather than through a central adaptation programme.
Normative data
No normative data held in our reference library for this instrument. That is a statement about our library, not about the published literature.
Licence
open with attribution

Licence classification is a research judgement by the catalogue’s authors, not legal advice, and it can be out of date. Confirm terms with the copyright holder or publisher before using an instrument, especially for commercial use.

Choosing between this and the alternatives

We do not deliver this instrument. If you are selecting a measure for a research programme, a national survey or an assessment product, and the question is which instrument, in which language, against which norms and under which licence, that is the work we do.
