What it measures
Personal values salient in daily life and consumer behaviour: sense of belonging, excitement, warm relationships with others, self-fulfilment, being well-respected, fun and enjoyment in life, security, self-respect, sense of accomplishment (9 values, often grouped into internal vs external)
Length and format
9 (rate and/or rank-order 9 values). rate importance of each value (e.g. 9-point) and/or pick the single most important (self-report questionnaire)
Language versions
Adapted into many languages in consumer-behaviour and cross-cultural research (e.g. ES, DE, ZH, JA, KO, and others)
