What it measures

Moral Foundations Theory: Care/Harm, Fairness/Cheating, Loyalty/Betrayal, Authority/Subversion, Sanctity/Purity (often summarised as Individualising vs Binding foundations)

Length and format

32 (30 scored, 6 per foundation, across a relevance block + a judgement block; plus 2 catch/foil items). two response formats: 6-point relevance ('when you decide what is right/wrong, to what extent is X relevant?') and 6-point agreement (self-report questionnaire)

27+ languages; validated across many cultures (e.g. ES, FR, DE, IT, PT, NL, SV, TR, ZH, KO, JA, AR, plus others); a major cross-cultural mega-study used dozens of languages
