What it measures
Refined Schwartz theory: 19 more narrowly defined values on the same circular continuum (e.g. Universalism split into Nature/Concern/Tolerance; Power split into Dominance/Resources; Security, Conformity, Face, Humility, etc.), recoverable to the original 10 and to 4 higher-order values
Length and format
57 portraits (3 items per each of the 19 values). 6-point similarity rating (very much like me - not at all like me) (self-report questionnaire)

32+ language versions validated in the key cross-cultural study; e.g. ES, FR, DE, IT, PT, NL, RU, PL, ZH, JA, KO, HE, AR, TR, plus BCMS
