What it measures

The career-exploration process and its reactions/beliefs: process scales (Environmental Exploration, Self-Exploration, Number of Occupations Considered, Intended-Systematic Exploration, Frequency, Amount, Focus), three reactions (Satisfaction with Information, Exploratory Stress, Decisional Stress), and several exploration beliefs (e.g. employment outlook, certainty of outcomes, external/internal instrumentality).

Length and format

~55-62 across 16 subscales (commonly cited as ~55; some versions ~62). Likert ratings of exploration behaviors, reactions and beliefs (self-report questionnaire)

Adapted internationally (e.g. Chinese and other versions) in career-exploration research
