What it measures
Frequency of positive and negative feelings over the past 4 weeks; 6 positive + 6 negative items (each set mixes 3 general and 3 specific feelings). Yields SPANE-P, SPANE-N, and an affect-balance score (SPANE-B).
Length and format
12 (6 positive + 6 negative). 5-pt frequency (1 very rarely/never - 5 very often/always); SPANE-B ranges -24 to +24 (self-report questionnaire)
