Adult literacy, numeracy and adaptive problem solving (Cycle 2); problem solving in technology-rich environments (Cycle 1); plus skill use at work and in daily life, and in Cycle 2 the Big Five social and emotional skills measured with the BFI-2.

Adaptive computer-based cognitive assessment (approx 60 minutes) plus an interview-administered background questionnaire (approx 45 minutes); rotated item pool per domain. computer-adaptive and paper-based cognitive items; interviewer-administered background questionnaire (performance/ability test)

Fielded in the national languages of every participating country under the OECD translation and adaptation protocol.
